Information the Equipment Can Provide
Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR) is an instrument that was purchased from Thermo Mattson in 2001 and it determines chemical composition of functional groups in thin films, solids, solution, emulsion, or suspension in a non-invasive or non-destructive method.
Key Features
- Detectors: A liquid nitrogen cooled Narrow Band MCT (700-4800 cm-1) and a room temperature DTGS detector (400-4800 cm-1)
- Accessories: Two attenuated total reflection (ATR) cells, equipped with ZnSe crystal and a GATR Germanium crystal.
