Instrument Capabilities

The FTA200 contact angle goniometer is a flexible video system for measuring contact angle, surface and interfacial tensions, wettability, and absorption. The camera is capable of capturing images from 1/60 seconds to hours.

Two calibration samples (39 and 90 degrees) are also available.

10 mil syringes and needles are provided by TMI. Working with solvent will require moving the goniometer into a fume hood which should only be done by the TMI staff.
