TMI Director and Materials Science faculty Arumugam Manthiram has been selected as the winner of The Electrochemical Society (ECS) 2021 Battery Division Technology Award.
ECS distinguishes outstanding technical achievements in electrochemical, solid-state science and technology, and recognizes exceptional service to the Society through the Honors & Awards Program. Recognition opportunities exist in the following categories: Society Awards, Division Awards, Student Awards and Section Awards.
Established in 1993, the goal of the Battery Division Technology Award is to encourage the development of battery and fuel cell technology, and to recognize significant achievements in this area. The winner receives a framed certificate, $2,000 US, and ECS Battery Division membership for as long as the recipient maintains Society membership.
Formal recognition of this honor will take place during the 240th Meeting in Orlando in October of 2021. Please help us congratulate Dr. Manthiram on this accomplishment!
