TMI Seminar Series: Cigdem Ozsoy Keskinbora, Ph.D.

Dr. Cigdem Ozsoy Kiskinbora is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Applied Physics at Harvard University. She received her Ph.D. from the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart, Germany where she specialized in electron holography, which can be utilized to uncover information about electrical and magnetic properties of materials (that can be used to measure electrostatic potential, electrical fields, strain, etc.). In addition to electron holography studies, out of personal interest she worked on plasmonic behavior of topological insulator Bi2Se3 with EFTEM and nano structuring by FIB. At Harvard, she continues to work on characterization of new topological materials and 2D materials in collaboration with various groups from Harvard and MIT.
