Course Description

Applications of mathematical analysis and numerical concepts to typical engineering problems. Analytical solutions for linear ordinary differential equations; numerical integration of ordinary differential equations; Fourier series and integrals; the Laplace transform; the solution of partial differential equations; vector analysis and linear transformations.

Prerequisites

Graduate standing, and Mathematics 427K or the equivalent.
